Creating Opportunities!

Founded in Liverpool in 1979, Riverside Learning & Education Centre offers tools, support and guidance to individuals who wish to get back into the world of work. One of our main goals is to help you believe you can achieve, offering a helping hand to overcome challenges, and providing guidance as to your options and the opportunities our courses can create for you.

We predominantly work on a 1:1 basis but can also work as part of small groups to ensure you receive the support you need. This support frequently results in increased confidence, self-worth, and ambition.
Learning at Level 3 or above will be funded by an Advanced Leaner loan (similar to university loans and with the same rules), and we can assist with the application process for this. With a team that is with you 100%, we'll help you get the most out of your course. Email our team today to discuss your ambitions.

Alternative education

For some students the traditional school environment is not a place they feel they can concentrate, develop and flourish. In these cases, Riverside Learning & Education Centre, awarded 'Good' by Ofsted, offers pre-16 alternative education.
Please note that due to a change in Liverpool Education departments policy, we can no longer take direct referrals. (please contact the A.P.T. Liverpool team).
We continue to hope for a change in policy and seek alternate funding to reintroduce this student focused learning through after school homework clubs and other forms of support.

Has someone done something online that has made you, a child or a young person feel worried or unsafe? Make a report to one of CEOP's experienced Child Protection Advisors.
